Working as part of a team of architects, developers and devops engineers, our company was employed to provide solution architecture and interface design expertise on the LEDS External Integration program (part of NLEDP) at Home Office.

This strategic UK Policing ‘monolith to microservices’ program is helping to replace the legacy PNC Mainframe system, used by 127 organisations and front-line officers from all forces.

MIC Solutions Ltd was involved from the outset in October 2022 with Phase 1: ‘Discovery-as-a-Service.’ Engaging with key stakeholders, such as Police Forces, suppliers and other central government departments, we produced Interface Approach Documents (IADs) with As-Is and To-Be architecture for the next phase of delivery.

In recognition of our reliable content, our contract was extended into the design and transformation phase seeing our company continue to operate as a key supplier. Producing HLDs, LLDs, tech enablers, guidelines for API Lifecycle management as well as multiple templates and re-usable interface patterns we have enabled onboarding of each critical service to AWS.
