Technology is no longer the enabler for business; it ‘is’ the business.
MIC Solutions Ltd is delighted to be working with a new Department at the heart of central government. Responsible for setting DDaT strategy in collaboration with leaders from government and industry, CDDO is an exciting opportunity to develop major digital and data programmes across Whitehall and the wider public sector.
Our company has been leading on the ‘Future Networks for Government’ (FN4G) programme to advise on technical architecture standards as part of a new strategy to help modernise and transform digital services. Collaborating with central and local government, we are building a coalition of the willing to help define and mandate a ‘Common Capability Framework’ for digital services, that will ultimately deliver better value for money for the UK tax payer.

The discovery project started in April 2021 with phase one completing in October. MIC Solutions Ltd delivered technical Roadmaps for every department and application that uses the Public Services Network. Phase two provides modern alternative ways for departments to access services on the PSN, helps them to adopt cloud, improves their overall security posture, as well as removes legacy technology along the way. Phase two is due to complete in September 2022 which will also include a technical analysis of the core network and interconnectivity to European services.
