In 2016, with only a handful of employees, MIC Solutions Ltd was delighted to be involved at the birth of one of the UK’s first new ‘Challenger’ Banks. Before a Banking License was acquired and the first customer was signed, our company helped to build out the core infrastructure to connect Starling Bank to bureau services and the Faster Payments Network.

With security and low latency performance critical to any potential success, we delivered the core build in AWS and a resilent network to enable the launch of the UK’s first truly mobile bank.

In addition, we managed two office moves in central London, building out their Comms Rooms and implementing security procedures, installing structured cabling and configuring corporate switches, routers, firewalls and WiFi Access Points.
